Drafting/ Design Specialist.

Summit Contracting is the premier builder of agricultural structures in South Dakota & Nebraska. Currently, we are looking to hire an experienced Drafting/Design Specialist to join our team! This position will work with our sales and CAD team to develop accurate drawings to present to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • CAD Operators use Computer Aided Drafting software’s and techniques and design to create construction packets.
  • Develop and draft construction plans, elevations, and details
  • Maintain, digitize, update, and distribute revisions as they come in.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution in CAD or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two (2) years direct work experience in CAD may be considered as a substitute for a degree.
  • Experience and proficiency in the use of Auto Cad, Auto Cad Inventor, Microsoft Office, and Rhino CAD software are desirable, but not necessary.
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • The successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a complete background check, including credit report prior to being employed.
